Hotels today are facing multiple challenges from not just competitors in the neighborhood but also from aggregators like AirBnB, Agoda, OYO rooms and several others. Customers too are more aware and demanding than before as they have multiple choices. To stand out in the midst of this competition and attract new customers while retaining existing ones hotels must go beyond the standard bed, bathroom, breakfast and laundary services. They have to present themselves as a lifestyle destination that connects on a personal level with guests and retains them for generations.

Here are some of our most popular hotel concepts designed by experts in the business that are a mix of small family owned establishments and mid sized hotel chains that leave nothing to chance to impress their clientele.

Torno Subito designed by Bishop Design Mineheart 에클레틱 다이닝 룸 조명

Change - So far beyond just solely an F&B venue, the walls tell a beautiful story inspired by Massimo’s memories, enabling guests to relive these experiences of Italian food markets and the 1950s/60s beachside days on the Rimini coast. Serving emotion as the main ingredient in every dish is mirrored through each element of the design. Even the name itself “Torno Subito,” translating to “I’ll be back soon,” reflective of signs hung in Italian shopkeepers’ windows during lunchtime, perfectly captures the sentiments of the entire venues story, and also plays a tongue in cheek reference to Massimo’s presence at the restaurant. Interaction remains at the heart of the venue’s sentiments by establishing a natural connection between guests and the all-embracing narrative. Polaroids are taken from the photobooth situated at the entrance and displayed within the suspended ceiling feature so one becomes an inherent part of the venue’s identity, and outside pedalo’s invite patrons on a leisurely pursuit across the Arabian gulf; all evolving the venue as a completely immersive experience. The interior perfectly captures Massimo’s view of the world, which is complex, profound and often filtered through a child-like wonder and enthusiasm. Aesthetics achieve a bright welcoming and ultimately engaging venue offering high-end food and beverage yet enjoyed within a casual setting. The venue encourages its clientele to venture in for a meal, a drink or even a dessert allowing the patrons to interact with its interior and external dynamic as the day transcends into night willfully relaxing as the sun sets and the beachfront takes precedent.

A number of years ago we refurbished the Honeymoon Suite and in 2015 were commissioned to refurbish 40 bedrooms as part of a major refurbishment project. Three samples rooms in the original building were followed by a further seven (including a new Honeymoon Suite) continuing the theme of the sample rooms. Broadly speaking, the rooms were categorized into 3 segments: - Mini-Doubles—with no discernable historical architectural features Classic – these rooms have original cornice, high ceilings, good light and are of good size Feature Classic – spacious rooms with intricate cornices, exceptional ceilings, panelling or other architectural features The theme defined by the earlier the sample rooms was subsequently carried through across all three room types. The overall result was a single discernable design palette executed to varying degrees. All bathrooms were reconfigured to provide guests with the best possible showering experience amongst elements of classic marble, glass, brassware and stylish vanity units. Walls were repositioned or removed to make the most of the bathroom space. Generous luxury walk in showers replaced mean-sized baths in smaller rooms, whilst in larger rooms, space permitting, a separate bath and shower was provided.
