Steel range

Coin bank is for saving coins. Does it have other functions except saving money? I want to give another function for coin bank. I give new function the ‘bookend’ using feature that coin bank has a lot of coins, it is suppose to be heavy also I want to express weight of bookend therefore it made of stainless, surface is covered by leather due to feel warm when you grip it. Stainless was manufactured by raser cutting machine, and welding. Surface was covered with sheepleather.

Steel range 철의 산맥. 저금통. 동전을 모으는곳. 저금통의 기능은 단지 동전을 모으는 것 인가? 저금통에 새로운 역할을 주고싶었다. 저금통에 동전이 쌓이면 무거워지는 점을 이용하여 북앤드라는 새로운 역할을 부여하였다. 또한 북엔드의 무거운 느낌을 표현하기위해 주 재료를 스테인레스로 하였으며, 겉을 가죽으로 감싸 잡을때, 따뜻함느낌을 주도록 제작하였다. 스테인레스를 레이저컷팅으로 절단, 용접으로 결합하고, 겉 부분의 가죽은 양가죽을 이용하였다.
