Got to give a 5 star to Ms.Doreen for her professional advice on interior design for my house. We have spent a few months to survey before we have decided to engage an ID firm for design&build, honestly none of the others come close to Kitchen Story when we dealing with technical knowledge. Many IDs out there can produce excellent drawing but sadly with very little technical knowledge.

The initial discussion with the designated ID was okay but it went downhill pretty fast. After the site measurement, I had problem reaching out to the ID. Originally, most of my WhatsApp messages were replied after 24hours - which i'm okay as i understand that the ID might be busy with existing projects BUT then things starts to get worst. I had to messaged the ID daily / alternate days to enquire about the quotation status as it has been 2 weeks but 99.9% of my messages were ignored.
I was quite disappointed and contacted the number listed in the website requesting for a change of ID. As predicted, my request was not approved, and the PIC replied that they would request the ID to follow up on my quotation request ASAP. Conclusion : I didn't hear from the ID at all and decided to give this a miss.
I understand that they might be very busy with ongoing projects but ignoring messages from potential customer is definitely not a good move.
I thought they are one of the best ID firm in PG, but the service i received showed me otherwise. OR perhaps my place is not "atas" enough to entice them to work on.. 🥲
Kitchen Story team kept me informed throughout the renovation period, managing my expectations and did a wonderful job without me worrying about anything or doing a lot of supervision. Well done to the entire team.
